david n wilson
is a transdisciplinary designer, educator, and researcher. His practice focuses on emergent digital technologies that create, maintain, and change culture in public, virtual, and hybrid spaces. He is concerned about artificial intelligence and its impacts on human creative processes.

David is currently an independent scholar, previously conducting scholarship, teaching, and research at Purchase College State University of New York, The University of Texas at Dallas, and The New School for Public Engagement. At each he helped to establish design research labs that investigate an emergent digital communications form called Public Interactives. He has also held a teaching assistant professor appointment at Illinois State University.

The National Endowment for the Humanities, The Ministry of Culture of Colombia, NASA, Microsoft New York, Fotomuseo The National Photography Museum of Colombia, Association for Computing Machinery, New Museum, xCoAx, The Ann and Charles Eisemann Arts Innovation Initiative, Dallas Museum of Art, and WayForward. He has a publication forthcoming with the with Association for Computer Aided Design in Architecture.

David has also worked in the Television, Music, and Video Game industries.
