When out and about in NYC, I found a video monitor bludgeoned in the Atlantic Ave subway station. I had seen other screens that had met a similar fate in subway stations around Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn, all beaten with a blunt object. Watching the video glitch through the damaged screen I began to feel that this accurately symbolizes the current tensions between human, machine, and automation as AI. To create the video I captured video+images and manipulated them digitally{algorithmically}, without the use of AI.
